I’ve heard about this place, but this is the first time that I have seen it. I immediately wondered….can anything live here.

How frigging beautiful. I am also currently in the lowest part of Europe …..However they have spent more money on levies than any county in the world and I have my swimmies handy to.
I’ve never been. What a sight to see! You’ve managed to capture the scope of the place. and what a contrast it is to see all those people walking in such a remote place.

Yep… very hot … its 282 feet below sea level, Badwater Basin is the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere

The pool does have animal and plant life, including pickleweed, aquatic insects, and the Badwater snail. I did not see any though. 🙂
