Seasons are different

Autumn colors

Winter is like a blanket,

white cover on the ground.

Spring is like a flower,

sweet blooms of pink … yellow .

Summer is like grass,

shifting in the wind.

Fall is like a yellow leaf,

softly dancing in the air.

Seasons are different no matter how hushed,

immutable as it gradually pass away.

  1. Oh how lovely! I can feel the warmth of the sun and I love seeing the dappled light. Beautiful poem that so aptly describes the seasons as they die out and give way to the next one. (watching snow outside my window as I type this!)
